These terms govern the use of gopetia.com and the Go PetiA assistant. By creating an account or subscribing to a plan you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who we are
The service is operated by Oscar Alberto Sánchez Olvera, tax ID SAOO791121DH8, with address at Venus 59 El Mirador Iztapalapa 09800 CDMX México. You can reach us at hola@gopetia.com.mx.
Throughout this document we refer to ourselves as Go PetiA and to you as the user.
2. What Go PetiA is and is not
Go PetiA is an artificial intelligence assistant that helps people organise their pets' care and helps pet businesses serve their clients. It records information, sends reminders, answers questions and helps maintain a health record.
Go PetiA is not a veterinary service and does not replace consultation with a professional. The information it provides is supportive guidance, never a diagnosis or a prescription. If you notice any sign of an emergency, see a veterinarian immediately.
Responses are generated by language models and may contain errors. Always verify critical information with your trusted veterinarian before making decisions about your pet's health.
3. Your account
Most features require an account. You must be of legal age in your country of residence and provide accurate information.
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. Contact us at hola@gopetia.com.mx if you notice access you do not recognise.
You may close your account at any time from your dashboard or by writing to us. Once closed, you lose access to stored information, except what we must retain by law.
4. Plans, credits and usage limits
We offer a free plan with reduced limits and paid plans with higher ones. Each plan defines how many conversations, AI credits, web searches, file analyses and pets you may use in a period.
Limits reset according to the period stated for each one and do not roll over. Once reached, the service is limited until the next renewal or until you change plan.
We may adjust plan limits with reasonable prior notice. If a change significantly harms you, you may cancel before it takes effect.
5. Pricing, payments and billing
Prices are shown on the site and include or exclude taxes as indicated at the time of purchase. The final price, currency and applicable taxes are confirmed before you authorise the charge.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries related to billing and handles returns and applicable taxes for your country.
Your card details never pass through our servers and we do not store them. By completing a purchase you also accept Paddle's terms, available on their website.
6. Automatic renewal and cancellation
Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically each period until you cancel. The charge is made at the start of each period using your registered payment method.
You may cancel at any time from the management link in your purchase email or by writing to soporte@gopetia.com.mx. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.
If a charge fails, we may retry it and temporarily suspend paid features until the situation is resolved.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Go PetiA for illegal activities, to harm people or animals, to impersonate others, to send unsolicited communications, or to attempt to compromise the security of the service.
Reselling access, bulk extraction of content, and using the service to train third-party models without our written permission are not allowed.
If you are a business using the service to contact your clients, you are responsible for having their consent and for complying with applicable data protection and commercial communication rules.
8. Your content and generated content
The information you record — pet data, documents, photographs and conversations — remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process it for the sole purpose of providing the service.
You may export or delete your information from your dashboard. Once deleted, it is removed from our active systems within a reasonable period, except for temporary backups and what we must keep by law.
Content generated by the artificial intelligence is provided for your use. We do not guarantee it is unique or that other users will not receive similar responses to similar questions.
9. Intellectual property
The Go PetiA brand, software, design, documentation and site materials belong to Oscar Alberto Sánchez Olvera or its licensors and are protected by applicable law.
You acquire no rights over them beyond the use permitted by these terms while your account remains active.
10. Availability, changes and suspension
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, third-party failures or outages beyond our control may occur.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. If a change materially affects an active paid plan, we will give reasonable notice and you may cancel.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, poses a security risk or is used fraudulently.
11. Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or damages arising from decisions made based on information provided by the assistant.
Our total liability to you, for any cause, will not exceed the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer legislation in your country grants you on a non-waivable basis.
12. Data protection
Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms and is available at gopetia.com.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version will be published at gopetia.com with its update date and, if the change is significant, we will notify you by email or within the service.
Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of México. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Ciudad de México, waiving any other jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, you retain the right to approach the consumer protection authority that applies to you.
